I like Diane Francis’ columns and am glad you provided a link to this one. The Harper Government’s record is spotty on these foreign takeover bids. I wonder why successive Governments in this country don’t stand up for Canada more forcefully. Are they following another agenda? It makes one wonder…

Spencer: Thank you. Diane Francis is one the few good journalists who care about Canada’s great resource companies being gobbled-up by foreign entities like Glencore (Viterra) and state owned CNOOC (NEXEN). A long term game plan is long overdue. JB
